The representatives of Vilnius University visited American MD Program of TSMU

On 4-7^th of February representatives of Vilnius University visited American MD Program at Tbilisi State Medical University. The aim of the meeting was to introduce and share the information about the implementing of US MD Program at TSMU.

Professor Vaiva Hendrixon, MD PhD, Vice Dean of  the Faculty of Medicine of Vilnius University with Jekaterina Borkevic, Head of the Study Department and Arturas Saltis, Head of Students Affairs Office of Vilnius University met Professor Eka Ekaladze, Director of  USMD Program,  Professor Nino Tevzadze, Deputy Director of the program and the other stuff of American MD Program.

Within the framework of the visit, several meetings were held with the administrative stuff and students of US MD Program, Representatives of Vilnius University met with the head of the Rector's Administration, Irina Kapetivadze and discussed the details of the admitting international students and the issues of integration with the public. Both sides expressed desire to participate in students exchange programs. Also, the American side of the program, Emory University School of Medicine, was involved in the meeting with Skype Conference.
