American MD Program third year students took part in Global Health and Medicine Conference. Nini Dvali and Gegi Kirtadze, submitted their report - 'Antimicrobial Resistance and Hospital-Acquired Infections, as a Global Health Problem in the World'.
The head of the US MD Program Students’ was professor Tamar Didbaridze. The Conference was held by ‘Youth Scientific Union’ at the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia on 4th of April. Students from different Medical Universities of Georgia participated in the entitled conference with oral as well as poster presentations under the supervisorship of certain (appropriate for the topic) medical professionals. Current issues, researches and news global health and medicine were discussed during the conference. Students’ presentations were evaluated by the professors and practicing physicians.
