CONFERENCE - COEXISTENCE WITH THE MICROBIAL WORLD AND CHALLENGES

Nikoloz Khukhunaishvili, a 3rd-year student of the American MD Program of Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU), presented an oral report at the conference "Coexistence with the Microbial World and Challenges," held within the framework of the Open Science Program for students and young scientists. 

Our student's presentation was titled "The 21st Century Challenge in Medicine: The Silent Pandemic Caused by the Spread of Multiresistant Bacterial Strains." 

Nikoloz Khukhunaishvili was mentored by Professor Tamar Didbaridze, Head of the Department of Microbiology at Tbilisi State Medical University.

The conference was organized by: the National Scientific Library, the Giorgi Eliava Institute of Bacteriophage, Microbiology and Virology, the Georgian Association of General and Applied Microbiology, and the National Scientific Library Development Fund.
