On May 8th professor Joseph J. Piatt, neurosurgeon from Jefferson University Hospital read public lecture at Tbilisi State Medical University under the auspices of American MD Program.
"Infants’ Heads" -the topic of the lecture of American professor was related to Neonatology.
Professor Joseph is Pediatrician works as a neurosurgeon at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital with 31 year of clinical practice. He earned his medical degree in 1979 at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of American academy of Pediatric and American Association of Neurological Surgeons since 1990 year. He is an author of dozens of publications concerning neurological development disorders and neurosurgical issues in Pediatrics.
Dr. piatt's current research focuses on the epidemiology of various Pediatric neurosurgical condition and the measurement of outcomes and quality of care. He is pursuing an online Masters in Applied Statistics from Penn State.
