Job Shadowing

Today Students of US MD PROGRAM had their first exposure to clinical practice aka Job Shadowing. Students visited various Departments of different Hospitals in Tbilisi. Hospitals: Aversi Clinic - G.Igoroyva Neurosurgery Centre - Jo Ann Clinic - Republican Hospital. Departments: Vascular surgery, General Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Oncology, Emergency Medicine, Ophtalmology, Endocrinology, Invasive Cardiology. Students were able to follow the patients and do the physical examinations according to their level of training.They also attended multiple surgeries, starting from Craniotomy, ending with radiofrequency ablation of Varicose Veins. Some of them were lucky enough to participate in surgical procedures. Many thanks to Doctors who made today very interesting for our Students. As an information Job Shadowing is the part of Becoming a Doctor Course and will be held every second Thuesday ! So students are already excited about upcoming 19th November. Becoming a Doctor Staff.
