The recent USMD Awards Ceremony was a fantastic showcase of our students’ hard work, team spirit and achievements. The USMD Sports & Recreation Department recognized standout talents across various competitions with a wonderful lineup of activities and achievements to celebrate.

 Chess Tournament Winners:

• 1st Place: Luka Phirtskhalava

• 2nd Place: Shiyam Kumar

• 3rd Place: Irakli Kakhadze

 

Men’s Futsal Tournament Champions:

• Team Captain: Mohammed Samrood Sirajudeen

• Team Players: Atela Louis Iorliam, Ashwin Manoj, Bryan Sabu Thomas, Huzaif Bin Basheer, Shiran Basheer, Sooraj Suresh Babu, Zain Fiaz.

Eka Ekaladze, Director of American MD Program of TSMU, presented symbolic gifts to the winning students.

The carnival stalls added extra excitement, with students enjoying activities like Strength Showdown, Ping Pong Bounce Off, Game Table, Heavy “Weight” Trivia, and Ball on the Mark!
