In the framework of American MD Program, Emory Professors visited Tbilisi State Medical University.

Michale Lowe, Associate Professor of Surgery Department of Emory SOM, Professor Gordon Churchward, Assistant Dean for Medical Education and Student Affairs and Professor Mary Jo Lechowicz, Head of the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology had a meeting with the clinical faculty.

During their visit to the American MD Program of TSMU, Dr. Michael Lowe shared his clinical experience within the educational field with the Georgian colleagues. Meeting topics included discussing teaching methodologies, curriculum development, assessment strategies and other aspects related to medical education.

Sharing clinical experience in the educational field can be highly beneficial for faculty members, as it allows them to learn from each other's best practices, adapt successful methods, and innovate in teaching and learning approaches. It also fosters collaboration and strengthens ties between institutions, ultimately enhancing the quality of medical education provided to students.
